hearsay's and " according to " words are not very convincing....lets look into the facts ...black and white .These are the evidences that are acceptable.IF somebody out there who holds an FRN and claimed that he has redeemed it, definitely those Banks or Federal Banks will issue a receipt of the Financial instrument value, then maybe this can be used as factual evidence to claim that this FRN's are real.

cap miwa,

I received a invitation from a front commander to inspect their steel box of FRN series 1934 in an undisclosed location deep in the mountains of Maragusan,Comval Prov.  in the hope of converting this into cash.

The  question is, after all the risks, time, money and effort we exerted in finding these items even if the areas we're entering are rebel controlled, is it really worth it?

cap_miwa,

Yes, it's the same card.

A business agent of mine in Japan was contacted by the guy with the box back in March. I was asked to find out what it was.

I'm glad that I found this web.

that is not worth the risk. first, even if you will go to see that box deep in the jungle, will you be able to do something? will they let you bring it out? or they will just hostage you. life is more precious than money. remember that.

Second, those assets will nover pay when it is used to fund their cause or their war. whenever these assets are redeemed, most of the funds must be used primarily for humanitarian purposes.

Mas_Kara:
That's why even those who are legitimate holder can't redeem them unless they are done legally with the law under the Patriot act.
The japanese where detained because they try redeem it under the nose of the US FED. anything that involved US dollar in big amounts as money exchande, currency swapping or bonds and notes the banks involved will report it to the US FED as precaution that the money will not be used or came from terrorist, gun running, money laundering etc.

Cap is right that you can't do anything about it if the source are rebels, even private placement  transactions will not touched it. But not the extent of ransom, you are not rich enough to be paid for ransom.
