Go Up Go Down

My second Hispano Grenade, unexploded so very dangerous, American made. Looked on the internet after my first Hispano find and inside this small thing is some fantastic technology for that time. Found on battlefield, Ardennes, Aug 2010, I reburied it after photo's.
1st photo as found, 2nd photo after a very carefull clean up.

Looking at the Rifling marks, it looks like some type of Artillery shell to me.

Reburying an item like that is not considered proper disposal in my opinion. Why not turn it over to police for disposal? That would be much safer.

Just saying, the best thing to do is to call the anti-bomb cops, but that may take some time. Don't get  Angry  because of the smiles  Grin

You said you were Laughing Out Loud. This is a deadly serious subject. Leaving explosives buried in the ground is like leaving a land mine for someone to step on. Don't make jokes. I'm not mad. Just drop this discussion now unless you have something serious to add.
