Hello to all.
We found metallic object chained in the depth of lake Tanganyika.
The chain has a length of 5 metre. The semi circle has a diameter of 3 metre and depth of 1 metre. Its weight is 1 tone.
Can anyone tell me what is this and how do we open it?The metal is very heavy steel.

Judging by size, I doubt it weighs 1000kg. Maybe 100kg. Also, if it was underwater, it is probably a makeshift anchor which was lost.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.
