Garrett - AT Pro, Bounty Hunter - Quick Draw II, Tesoro Compadre
« on: September 19, 2014, 10:50:17 am »
Go Up Go Down

Ready to retire the Bounty Hunter Quick Draw II next week. Just placed an order for a new Garrett AT Pro through Kellyco with Option 2 package. (comes with a Vulcan 360 Pinpointer) but it's not going to be here till next Wednesday. Also ordered a GoPro Hero 3 Black with that new detector so I can take video of the digs.  I'm still going to make a run around the Monocacy River bridges in Maryland (where I work) to do some Relic Hunting this weekend with the old Quick Draw. I'm looking for people in the West Virginia Eastern Panhandle, Western Maryland, Southern PA region to do some hunting with but I won't hesitate to make a trip out to the Eastern Shore Beaches (From Delaware down to the Outer Banks) Cool

Wow. UPS is definitely the way to go. I commend them and Kellyco for the quick response and delivery of my new detector. Woke up this morning and the package had arrived. Of course, I couldn't wait to get started but made sure I watched the video that comes with the AT Pro first. The Option 2 package I opted for from Kellyco included a Vulcan 360 Pin Pointer and numerous other items. Blake, the Salesman at Kellyco, was excellent to work with and understood what I was looking for in a detector. He explained the ups and downs of the three different detectors I was looking at. (Minelab X-Terra 505, Garrett AT Pro, and the Fisher F5 DD). I also purchased the GoPro Hero 3+ Black Edition through Kellyco because I want to start video recording some of my digs. Blake was nice enough to throw in a Beachmaster 32" Adjustable All-Aluminum Sand Scoop at no charge. I highly recommend Kellyco to anyone thinking of purchasing or upgrading to a new detector.

My very first dig using the new detector... 1977 Washington Quarter and right next to it in the same hole... 1973 Lincoln. It's 2 to 3.5 hours to the beach. I feel a road trip will be happening next weekend.  Detecting

Well nice to see that you're of on a good start, the AT Pro is a great machine. Once you get used to the machine go back to the place where you found your first coins, you'll be amazed to see what you missed and by the way welcome to thunting.com

You have chosen a fine machine there. Wait till you start finding the goodies!
