Maybe some remains from an old Iron works, steel mill or something ? Have there been something like that around ? On one of the norwegian meteorite sites I saw one I was sure was a meteorite, but when thye showed the other side it read 17.... something
I have no clue wheter it is a meteorite or not. Howewer, does your xterra often go off on hotrocks in your area ?
