The letter that we received from the State of New Mexico told us that are plan is administratively complete.  That is a good sign and the BLM is co-operating as well.

For those that have been following the progress of Tesoro Del Alma below is the email that we have received this week concerning our mining permit.  The only thing that is not included is the attachment.  But as can be seen is that it does not need to be responded to.

Nick,

The attached is the latest agency comments on your project,  again,  nothing to worry about in their response and no response is necessary.   You might check with the BLM regarding any archaeological surveys they may have completed of the area,  but I doubt they would approve the action if it had not been looked at in regard to archaeology.  They generally visit these as a large group of specialists,   including a range spec. and an archaeologist etc. upon submittal of your Notice paperwork to BLM.  My guess is they have already looked at the site.   At any rate,   I plan to start drafting your permit next week,  after the comment period formally closes,  just trying to keep you informed as we navigate the process.

Hope all's well,
Regards,
Jimmy

We have been off the blogs because of some people that would like to just say things without any proof.  The latest is that we are getting ready to take the Las Cruces BLM into Federal Court force them to comply with the law, they are using administrative policy as law which will not work.  We have done everything the BLM has required us to do and now they are using policy and not law so they have left us no other choice but to do a Writ of Mandate to force them to comply with the law.

I wish to apologize for my comments as I just re read them. I dont communicate very well at times. I have always found the Victorio Peak interesting and have not seen much new info so far.

But the Tesro Del Alma I believed to already be in a bank in El Paso. So excuse the confusion, as I have my treasure sites mixed up.

Im confused as to why the BLM wont let you dig. Right now we have people trying to get sites protected and cant. I live in the Las Cruces area.

Your story has convinced me to not dig anything I think I have found.

After your done excavating, I would much like to visit and photograph the are for my own archives.
