Hi Nick,
I've had a fascination with another treasure hunt on Oak Island in Nova Scotia for a number of years, and reading through this forum recently,I find the history and story behind your exploration equally as fascinating.I'll have to read up on the details you have presented so far before I ask any questions and you seem to be having the same problems with officialdom as the current applicants are with Oak Island although theirs is more to do with red tape.

We have had a lot of red tape as well but we challenge them in court where it counts.  They keep making policy changes which are not law.  We just keep plugging away.

What is the LAW?    Follow the LAW and you will get there.

Funny thing about the Book.    In the military I found out it covers everyone.

Up and Down.

I have been following Nick's progress and he has been at this for over 20 years. It looks like the FEDS are going to delay his permits until they can clean out the gold bars for themselves. Just like they did at Victorio Peak.

Hey all, nice topic, very interesting.
I just wanted to say that in concerns to the way that the gold bar appears is because, back then, they smelted there ore for there mines in order to be able to store or transport it easier. this was done quickly. they melted the ore, poured it into a mold and then knocked out after it cooled. there was no time to take out or seperate the impurities that were in the ore. therefore the odd look and colors of the bars.
If you were to pour something like jewelery cleaner on the bar, you would see the silver, lead, copper, gold and zinc which are usualy found together.
