Nick, that's a really interesting and informative video.   I have to admit I never knew about the necessity of having a trove claim in addition to a mineral claim.....something to keep in mind if my poking around in Arizona leads me to some of the caches I think may be locatable.

awsome! Unfortunately I dont have sound at work so I have to wait to hear it but its very intriguing. You can bet I will be scoping those vids this evening.

Can't wait to see you all hauling that horde out!  Smiley

Are there any indications to the origin of the treasure on the site?

Thanks again for sharing this Nick!

We have Spanish documents that give a date of 1635.  We had to get them translated and we now have them safely stored.

Thats a treasure in itself.

So do you believe the cache was mined on site or was it just a storage facility awaiting transfer?

Is it possible this could be the same place Ward and Doughit supposedly found?

It was a storage place.  Willie lived in a shack not far from my site.  Doc Noss told Fred Droltre about this claim and Fred's claims surrounded what is now know as TDA 6.  There is a book that will be published very soon called the Gold House that deals with the whole bunch of characters that you guys are talking about.  When I went to New Mexico in December for the Zonge test I stayed at Karen Cheathams house there in Los Cruces, NM

No a friend of mine wrote the book and it is a very good book with a lot of actual documents.  A lot of people were interviewed for the book and they are in the process of interviewing me for book 3.  It is going to be a 3 volume set.

Nick
I am pretty busy with the Tesoro project. But I enjoy reading about other treasures
I did know about this site.  My website captures email address's and that is how I found you.
