I am a new member to this site, in fact i joined today. I am interested in anything archeological, but am mostly intriegued by stories of lost relics, and treasure (who isn't). Since I am sure there are many people who have years of experiance with treasure hunting here, i would like to ask for any interesting stories, or leads about possible lost artifacts in the northern utah area. any information at all about possible locations, or clues to anything would be appreciated.

You could check out the Pony Express route that went through Northern Utah.  The Stage line used the same roads before them, and they were always being robbed.  Corrine was a rough railroad town with alot of loose change.
I've heard that there's a cache in Tonys Grove too.

You can start your hunt off by getting some books all of which I will list will make great reading when the snow starts to fall and in the winter you can do all the research at this time as well
here is the list of books to buy
Some Dreams Die, Utah's Ghost Towns and Lost Treasures  by   George A Thompson
Faded Footprints, The lost Rhoads Mine and other Hidden Trasures of  the Uintahs  by George A Thompson
Out of the Dust, Treasure in Utah  by Stephen B  Sheffer
Lost Treasure of the old Spanish Trail by George A Thompson
and read read and have fun I have all the books that I have listed great reading and with maps but not all of them will show you were the X is to dig good luck and be safe glad to help out.
and if you would like to hunt parks i would be glad to show how to dig a plug I live in Roy.I my self will be starting to hunt some lost Treasure very soon now its cooling of out there, the best thing to do is research research research and learn how to use your metal detector Detecting

I found a book at the library I think it was called Utah's lost treasures, it would be worth looking at.
