I recently bought a Troy Shadow X2 for a tote around and backup machine.   They were tearing out some sidewalks a couple blocks from my house so I grabbed the X2 since it already had the 7 inch coil on it (I also have the 9 inch).  I only had about 30 minutes to hunt before dark so after not having any luck, I started walking home.  I decided to work some curb strips on the way home and picked up a couple clad coins beforr getting a nice round tone that sounded deeper than surface clad.  I cut a 5 inch flap and folded back the grass and soil.  I checked the hole and nothing.  When I checked the flap I got a solid hit on the PROPOINTER at the base of the flap. I dusted back some dirt and discovered this nice 52 D Rosie.

Nice find.  My experience has been that you often make the best finds where you least expect them.  Detecting

Nice find!  That dug silver always stands out so brightly from the dug clad!    Great              Detecting
