The ciphers of the Beale Papers were the main focus of the newest article in the Nov./Dec. 2024 issue of Popular Mechanics, written by Dave Howard.
With the creation of the Beale Ciphers, a series of communiques were encrypted into the blocks of numbers, and using a specific key, relayed information from James Reavis to JB Ward, who then created the story line to the pamphlet, adding specific details in their own hidden Old English Box Ciphers.

The article offers a look into the Beale Papers and the quest to solve the puzzle, with the interest of providing the information about the key in the section of my research. It also adds a number of other points of view, mainly from the researchers with the largest amount of time spent.
FYI - I found the mines in research one evening back in 2014, in 35 minutes, after reading a story about Jacob Waltz on DesertUSA's website. I was working in Vermont in my shop and was looking for ways to find investors for my product lines, and took a break. I later moved out to Arizona, filed a claim on 4 of the Gold Mines, and then solved the ciphers in 2023.
For anyone that knows what they are doing with Google Earth, you can find a lot of old claims this way, but it's not the best way to confirm they exist.
