This Huge Hoard found in Buckinghamshire contains over 5000 coins BUT one is rather Special and is worth over a Million Pounds or 1.54 Million Dollars, They were found in December last year and yet they still have not stated the value and 11 months later the finder has still not been paid, It is supposed to take a lot less time than that,

This is the problem with the portable Antiques scheme, and I bet their excuse is it is because there are so many coins SIMPLE ANSWER put more staff on the job, Until they have paid for it they don't own it but that has not stopped them from working on them, 6 months is too long 11 months is an outrageous "P" Take.

This is total BS, The PAS people come in and take over the dig and the recovery, They know the Rules but they don't stick to them, I am so Glad I don't search for this stuff anymore, They want it all their own way and yet hang it out for as long as possible, they are supposed to sort this out in a certain time frame.

Nah just claim it and let it run it's course. It's found money. And everyone can use free money.

Over here if you win the lottery most states take 35% right off the top and the the feds get another 10 % at the end of the year.
Then there are states like NY. and California who take even more.
Im sure if you found a treasure it must be the same way.
