WW2 bombs in Ks? I know some Japanese balloon bombs made it to Ks - winds floated them right over Ft Riley. One was caught in trees near family property. Sue

Yes, Sweet Sue...that must be why the story made the Front Page of the Eagle
City fathers always had Ft Riley come and "extract" those bombs from the exposed muck. Personally, I always thought the Army should have sent some of the prisoners from Ft. Leavenworth to "do the deed."
