....Hi, Hav'nt posted for a while as "TONYJA" ..and seem to have been forgotten by the system.. Anywaay, I have just found out that there are some ridiculous and unenforceable laws about recovering "other people's property" in my country..(jamaica).. for instance, by finding a ring and not turning it in, (to the police, say) you may be guilty of "LARCENY BY FINDING"..so what happenes ?? NOBODY gets their rings, etc back..its just too much hassle..  Willing to answer any and all ques about Jamaica and its past..land or marine..OK??

tell me about recreational diving using a metal detector?  Are they enforcing that, or just the fact that you have a metal detector with you diving, what is the penalty?
Also what does customs do if you bring in a metal detector off the airplane???
