Hey Guys,

I have found another person who is higher up the ladder who says that she will look into my problem and see if there is any way to get me connected and sort out my account  Great Lets see if her words are good and true  Grin

Wireless seems to be a problem in my area for some reason, so not sure what can be done at this time  No no! That is the problem when you live in a small mining town. As for the tailings of the trenches that are dug..... If there was any type of metal in there, it is now gone.... the guys who dig these trenches are worse that vultures  Shocked Shocked Shocked

Xavier, make a very small lug and join that element wire together... that is what I did to my soldering iron.... Oh and it is still running great  Idea

As for the moon being covered over, I am not sure if I saw it or not as I could not find the moon  Crazy

Thanks Homefire I found one looks the same but not the same make but all the characteristics fit and it's only $5.00 so I guess that I will go for it. (complete unit).

Pgill to see the moon you have to look up in the sky NOT the ground LOL (Got to tell him everything)

I salvaged an old soldering iron changed the tip so I'm up and running again now it's a question of completing my 500mm coil for my other detector then when and if the rain decides to stop I will test it in an area that was burned a few weeks ago otherwise inaccessible due to the hight grass. The digital detector is slowly coming along (a hole new learning curve) I will keep you all posted on the new developments.

GD instead of moving back to the states you should come here to SA as there is a high demand for people with you background not to mention that you would live like a king over here and I'd have a good tutor LOL (worth a try)

All the best
Xavier

Peter, have you looked into the high gain, directional antennae? They really do the job if you know which direction your tower is. They come in all flavors and all frequencies so you need to know if you are on 2.4ghz or 900mhz or whatever. I added one to a repeater because we're in a dead spot here. Now even my neighbors on both sides get mobile phone reception because of it. My Android phone loves it.
