Detecting in South Africa

Hi Pgill.
I agree ...small thing but the thread is called Detecting in South Africa......and if you went detecting with us in South Africa  this is exactly the kind of light hearted banter one could expect.....it's not like we are false advertising ,this is really how we folk are.....
And quite frankly this is detecting in SA .....US, unless their are others hiding in the wings for whatever reason.
We are a small community and sofar we are the only public ones......yes there are the 'OTHER GROUP', but stuff them it's not like they are forthcoming.....of which you have personal experience, it's all hushh hush and clicky.
So thats it really ....this is detecting in South Africa. And it's FUN, for me anyways I'm sure it is for you too.
Would be nice if we could get more members and have some more input.....from the wings of Southern Africa.
I actually often wonder if we don't maybe have a bigger night raider community, lots of detectors out there.....not so many detectorists.
And AU you have served your time in the naught corner, you may return to your desk.......and do not let it happen again or it is straight too the Headmaster for you!

GD we were talking about pulltabs,,, and the future detectorists finding them.... There was nothing wrong in the post at all... it was just a piece of fun that we were having.... That is who us South Africans are.... no offense, we are just fun people.... this whole topic has been serious and fun, and we have not had problems with it before... now all of a sudden it is a problem. I do not see any problems with what was written alien or otherwise....
We have not had any problems or complaints from anyone.... in fact all the people that have joined us have had fun with us..... I have posted serious stuff on this forum, in other topics, and have done well with them..... This topic is about South Africa treasure hunting and the fun that we have.... We will be a sorry bunch if we have to be serious all our lives....

I was the one who started about the pulltabs, so I am involved as that is what this is all about..... This is not just a moderator problem when it involves individuals..... And I am finding your tone to be offensive.... We have done nothing wrong to deserve this type of treatment, our only guilt is having fun..... I am sorry, from now on I will be serious about everything  "Don't tell me to take that to the bank" that is offensive and one of the things not allowed on the forums... GD, you need to think this through and decide which way you wish to go.... we are not in the wrong here.... think about that....

When I said "take that to the bank," it meant that the truth of what I said is as good as gold. I do have a sense of humor. You are welcome to post here and to continue to post here. Nobody wants you stop or leave. The issue is in the moderator forums right now and will be resolved there.
