Hello Guys ! Dont try to bury me so quick ! I am still alive and kicking ! I see - lots of K@K talk about sheep's and PIC (?) - as always , which is all right as long as you dont use sheep's for some " funny " purposes ... I was supposed to go to Sodwana for Easter to look for diamond rings but got sick and I dont trust doctors at all , so I will sit around and maybe try to dig some old, broken nails and bottle caps ! Found some old newspapers which will study to look for " real treasures " ! See samples :

Mmmm just read the thread, it HAS actually turned out to be interesting. Well done Pgill old boy!
We can't all be scientists I suppose.
I'm thinking about putting a robot together, metal detecting robot that is. Set it down on the beach and let it search. It can mark targets by dropping a bright ball, let it run for a bit and then start searching the areas where the balls are lying.
I'm trying to figure out how to make it ignore bad signals and only drop a target when it hits a good note.
What do you huys think Doable?

Very soon , even pull tabs will became great find and we will publish photos of them ! Maybe we should organize something which Viking described - this treasure hunting competition were we will be looking for previously hidden " treasures "? Peter , that book , which I was mentioning before I bought on the : Loot.co.za : Metal detecting search , I also bought ; " Metal Detecting Tips " by David Cardwell - which is completely useless - stay away !!
