Xavier,
Watch out for those UEO's. Old gunpowder can become very hazardous. I was sifting dirt at an old shooting grounds and an old 22 cal. round exploded in my screen and blew a hole through it and just missed my foot.

A bad day at gold prospecting or metal detecting is better than a good day at work.

I have found a lot of bit from WWII bombs and aircraft plus ammo that's why it pays to dig around our finds first,

Another thing to remember is when you dig to do it nice and easy, no violence. I have dug up some old rounds from the Boer war and the charge was still good, I know because I opened them and burnt it and it went Whooooffff  Grin Lucky for me I grew up with the stuff and I am scared of it.
