WOW now that's good to know. We have lots of sperm-whales around the South African coast. Now all I need is to find a good photo of it.  Cheesy

Not rocks. Much softer and semi-transparent in spots.

Pgill, It didn't take you long to get hooked up with the local UK detectorists. I went to the Central Searchers site. That is a kick-butt operation. I wish we had one like that here. I belong to two local clubs which are mostly show and tell clubs. One has an organized hunt once a year the other has 2 contest hunts a year. The problem with Florida is two fold. First, 300 years ago everyone was hunting with stone tools Club and secondly the litigation and insurance situation is so bad here that most landowners won't agree to  a club payment arrangement. I know we tried. Even a rancher who has regular eco-tourism tours on his property wouldn't let us do it. I think he was worried about rattlesnakes. He doesn't let the eco-tourist get off the bus becasue of them.  I'm thinking I'll take a UK detector vacation like I did last year. - gambol

10 miles from the House here I can find you a Rattler about every 60ft.

Some really Big ones over 5ft long.

No they don't taste like chicken.
