That is why I cut out any i.d on where the fields are  Great I have learnt a lot from Time Team about these circles.... Will have to try and do some checking  Clapp I am the only one with these fields, so I can take my time on them  Kiss I will take a size reading on the diameters of these circles, will let you know in 1/2 hour on here...

I love Time Team.... Ok I quickly measured the circles and the big one is 40.9 meters across and the small one is 26.5 meters across.... seems very large, guess will have to check them out properly  Idea

when you go there use your GPS get the Lat/Longs from the map and go to the field and measure across it then come back half way then put a marker in the middle of it, see if you can mark out a square around it and do the whole area, but only when you are detecting there and always remove any markers when you leave there coz people might be watching you,

Yeah, I am not so worried about digging the ruins as they are only walls or post holes, but the finds around these sites can be amazing  Great if I dig the walls then I will draw attention, which I do not want to happen. If I do dig the walls, it will be after I am finished detecting the site, which could be years  Funny Funny

Thats way I said use a GPS coz then you can mark the map of the area that you have done and know where to do next, otherwise on a big field you could end up missing loads of areas, and then you can also plot you can plot your find and find the hot spots along with build up an Idea of what and where things have been going on there, on sites like that you just cant wonder around aimlessly because when you do it like that you can work out where the next hot spot is,

I did tell you to get here and help me with this site  No no! where the hell are you  Idea the other buddy has helped me a lot with settings and ideas on how and where etc etc etc  Cheesy I did a whole lot of air tests with this new machine of mine and learnt so much, I think coins are going to start showing now  Kiss Gold, silver and Roman and Saxon jewelry  Kiss ah, what a great life  Shocked
