I will keep all your suggestions in mind  Great I had 3 objects all together and picked all three out at the same time, so signal separation is good even with the big coil, 2 signals were iron and the other showed button which turned out to be a copper rivet... so it worked well. You were saying that some of the coins show a iron signal, should I be digging iron to gt the coins  Idea I will be digging about a million holes if I have to do that  Grin Grin Grin

That square is a coin weight from James 1st, 16th century... it is a crown weight  Clapp

No peter dont worry about diggin Iron, you've got it working well mate.

just play with those settings like I said and the coins will come, Is it working better than your other machine?

You just have to find the spot where the coins are and put the coin over them coz your doing everything else right,

Thanks buddy, I will play a bit with the settings taking note, but will stay where I am for a couple of hunts just to get used to it  Great This detector is far more superior compared to the Garrett Ace, which is a great machine, but does not have the depth.

I did get a strong signal, but realized it was X's Iron pea brain, so I left it buried   Laughing

Well Peter you must be doing it spot on because your finds have sat there for many hundreds of years and it was you who found them so I think that are doing it right and I bet your not the first person to detect there, Sqaure headed bolts, nuts and washers always fool detectors, I know of one guy who found a gold nugget that weighed just under an OZ with that machine and coil at over 18 inches so I know its a beast of a set up,
