I think you're right about the gold coin. I have decided to hang up my detectors until I can have a VLF, as you know these detectors just don't cut it in this kind of soil that we have and I'm not going to try and do any more mods on this PI. But I may make a new coil for it.

Have you still not received that other detector yet? You should check with the post office and the person who stays at that mailing address....  No no! But I do agree with you about your machines.... they just do not work with the soil we detect in  Wise

Is that the Gold Snoop, Xavier? Check to be sure it was shipped, mate. Don't forget, Jack Lange is an Aussie.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Lucky for me it's not the gold snoop it's the TGSL that I ordered from Silverdog some three or is it four months ago now. I did not order the gold snoop yet as this Op cost me more than what I had anticipated but I do have his banking details and all. I'm now hoping to be able to order it at the end of November (This really sucks)

Cheesy Cheesy I sure did mate and all is WELL no problem whats so ever only thing is, that I need to make a proper coil for it. I was planing to give it to a youngster that's interested in metal detecting as I think that it will be great to have more people interested in the safe guarding our heritage (good or bad) and the good thing is that I came across some magnet wire that I will be able to use for that coil COOL don't you think.
