You are right Xavier...but this coming monday will be cold enough to freeze the balls off of me....gonna be 10F/-012c for a high. Now that's gonna be cold for sure. However, today it was something like -15F up in Minnesota....

Don't think I didn't think of something along those lines...I'm trying to get her to buy a house in Fla and we can spend the winter months down there. At least I'd be able to metal detect til my heart's content....maybe that's why she refuses to go there...I tried.....

Hey guys.....just went through what seems to have been a 24 hr stomach bug .....phew! Not a nice way to start off the weekend.
Jimmy, don't go and buy a second place over there...the dollar is about 7 rand now,why not spend
Summer there and then Summer here, and all at a seventh of the cost. You folks could just buy a
tiny place here ....just a thought.
Gold ...hahaha...I think gold is going the same way as our fish stocks. I am quite happy to dig up other interesting items....but I would like to pull a gold sovereign or two, I am not so sure about Kruger coins where I am although they should be around.
It seems that there was a much bigger respect for money in the old days.....it was obviously secured much better, not just dropped into a pocket. Damn!....is all that comes to mind.
Well it is 3.32 am here and I think I have slept enough for the rest of the month.....I'm thinking that maybe a nice early hunt on the farm may be in order....just a pity bout all this sunshine Cheesy

I like the idea R7.00 for $1.00 that would mean that you could buy 7 houses instead of one you then could rent out the six of them and have a nice life for the rest of your life Idea

Thanks Viking for that great thought. Our housing market is at it's lowest in decades and in Florida one can pick up a nice 2 bedroom condo for less than $50,000 close to the beach as well. For us that is considered a buy. SA would be great except that 18 hour plane ride can get awfully long at times. I've done it twice and it never gets any shorter.
Guess for the time being, I'll have to live with the snow. But again, thanks for the thought. Jim
