Not yet but we are planing on getting some soon VERY soon. Ho by the way all batteries are charged, all detectors are working (well mine any way) so tomorrow it's for the fist one to find a gold coin and you'd better be hoping that it'll be me.

Nothing in the photo to judge size but it sure looks like it could be a  sword scabbard End or Tip.

Based on the ones I've seen and handled, I'd say "Yes, it could be" , but like Homie said there is nothing to give a sense of scale.

Viking, nothing to report... crappy day Sunday afternoon, only 1 small button that was worth keeping, and a thingymajiggy that I do not quite know what it is  Idea all X found was a cow patty  Funny Funny Funny Funny

If that item of yours is about 3/4" wide and about 1" long, I would say it was a tip from a belt.... if it is bigger then a sword or knife scabbard... it looks great though  Great

Hi guys, you should drink less and hunt more!1 Crazy. Take a look at the pics, just to get a size reference. If it was a sword chape.....that would make it pretty old right? hehehe. I'm much more into the history side of the hobby......so this would be like finding a gold coin to me......not to detract from the joy of really finding a gold coin however! Wink

I would think that if there was a leather sheath that went on it that there would have been holes to sow them together so I would go with the belt tip as it could have simply been pressed on the belt.
