Hey bud, did you try the silver foil trick like I told you? That should give an indication as to what material it is  Great Viking, it looks like you have a spike from a frame around a grave  Idea you must stay away from the grave yards  Funny Funny Funny

Check out my movie... It is a Tuscany Village here in South Africa.... The village is not real, it is in a casino property.... all the trees are made of fibreglass, the sky is painted on the ceiling of this place.... Amazing place though, great fun....

Hi Guys!  I'm back!  Almost 3500 miles on the motorcycles by the time we got home!  What a ride!  Traveled from Oregon into Nevada, Utah, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho and back into Oregon.  One day we had 108F temperatures in Utah.  Another day we had 110F!  First day on the road was cool and damp.  All the other days were sunny and very warm.  Very hard winds in the deserts of Nevada and Utah, some hard winds up through Colorado and Wyoming.  Some winds in Montana, too.  Got hard rains in Idaho.  I had to replace tires in Montana at the Harley-Davidson shop in Billings, MT.  My riding buddy ended up buying a new H-D Street Glide there!  Good to know I could make it!  Nice to be home, but what a blast!

More later!                       Victory

Hey AU, great to hear from you again, hope you are well and all is going well? I am still eating biltong, unfortunately the house is taking time to sell.... Lots of houses on the market now, and the banks are giving the people a hard time for getting loans.... Hey but we are hanging in there, and life just has to carry on till something happens  Great

Are you back to detecting yet? Hope that you are finding some gold coins, as you know I love them  Kiss I still remember the great time we had on our hunting trip, and definitely we will do it again  Clapp

PM me and let me know what is happening these days  Wink

Peter, I didn't take a detector along.  Another guy planned the trip and didn't leave much time for looking around or detecting.  He had a pretty tight schedule planned.  We did visit a couple of ghost towns and semi-ghosts.  One in Colorado I didn't even get any pictures of, we went straight through it so fast.  Next time I do something like that I'm going to make sure I have a looser schedule so I can take a detector and look around more!              Detecting
