Lead!!!! If that was my CZ  I would still have that white noise sound ringing in my ears hehehehe!
Nice find there......you know anything about alchemy?
Lousy hunt this weekend, just two interesting finds, here are the pics.
It's a vintage Girl Guides badge and some type of tooth , from an old implement/machine/digger. Probably early 1500's......."Rands" that is hehe, once I put it in a frame and sell it Mad I'll sell it as a "revolver bayonette" from the boer war lol!

The thing is that if you have a good look at that rock it is not granite it is more like sand stone. We have some granite on the farm if I get my camera sorted out I will post you a photo of granite you will mediately see the difference.

I know Granite.   It looks like the  soft form of it.   Sand stone would have weathered away.  Still Weird .     Can't think of any Dinosaurs with Five Toes.

This is BS granite is so damned hard that we have to blast it to do our roads Granite is almost green in colour and has white spots in it this is not granite this is what we call conglomerate and it is normally found in the ocean when looking for diamonds Ill bet that this is in the desert and probably in the western part of SA (did not look at the whole video as I'm charged per KB of download)

On your blue Rock metal stuff, file a spot down and see if it goes to White metal.

Put some Selsun Blue shampoo if they have it down there. It will Go Blue again.

If Not Sulfuric acid should turn it blue again (Battery Acid)

If it does it is most likely Silver.

Yep it's silver when I crape it. will try the battery acid test tomorrow Never know it just could be silver as it is it's to heavy to be alloy and to hard to be lead but it is very shiny silver in colour where I scraped it.  What is the melting point of silver? just a thought could a silver item melt in a bush fire?

If that's silver I'll see you tomorrow!  Detecting Detecting Detecting. As far as I know it's around  960 degrees celcius. You can make yourself a very cool smelting furnace on the farm mate! Not rocket science.

Here is the info but the melting point can change most well with the Alloy it is.

Tons of silver is mined here in the NM but comes from Lead ore   Galena .   Up to one or so percent Silver.

Notice it makes Leafy Crystals some what like gold.
