Can you get your hands on Meratic Acid to clean Concrete or Pools?

Here it's cheap.   $6.00 a gal.

Not sure about that Meratic acid.... what I got X was Ferric Chloride which we use at work  Wise it is very strong and he has mixed it with water, yet it still works  Great

Ferric Chloride is the best of the Best.     But You have to use what ya have.

You can reuse  Ferric Chloride by placing a chunk of Iron in it an let it recover all the Copper that is in it.

After  a day or so with the Iron in it , it will will clear up and turn Yellow and not the Muddy color it was.

The Iron will be Covered with Crystalized Copper and you can scrape it off as Crystals.

Yep! Used the stuff up to 20 times that way.

After that It started getting loaded up with other stuff.

Hey cool trick Homefire and very good to know thank for that info. Peter remember the coin that I placed on the coil? well I was wondering if I could not use a piece of ferrite and have it on some sort of rotating piece that way I could readjust the coil for different soil types. If I recall I read something like that some time ago where they had a piece of ferrite in the coil that you could rotate. It sure as hell works with that coin that I had on it.

Hey Homie, Great trick that one and makes sense as we use it as a floculent which takes very fine particles and binds them together making them easy for removal  Great which is similar to what you are saying  Wise

X, that may work with the ferrite rod, give it a try as it could be a fine-tune for the machine   Clapp then the 2 cent can go towards a beer  Kiss

Congrats....Stalwart ! Go find yourself a medal! Clapp.
I finished early today and went for a quick scout. Check it out....not OLD old but it's a start.
The button is very light, so I'm thinking it's aluminium....1940 1d George VI, loads of caps an old iron and also the wooden bird "idol" lol! Found that under a tree. Love it!
Time for the hunt is 1 hr 56 min from detector on to detector off.
