Thanks guys, this is the 4th time  have been to this site and the 1st for X, but it still keeps coming up with goods  Great Must admit though, that the latest finds have been the best so far, but past finds include small buttons, and a flintlock hammer, pocket watch cover, and a couple of glass bottle stoppers all among hundreds of bullet cases  Wink

Shocked what no mention of the pin-pointer HOW amazing  Grin Any how I have started cleaning up the stuff that I found, so will be posting some photos of it soon. I think that I found why the detector has been miss behaving ever since I'm in Gauteng OK please don't laugh I was using this machine in the surf and on the beech so I never shielded the coil. Ho well if you think that I'm stupid no need to say-so cause I FEEL #$@$@ STUPID   Angry

Can you believe it  No no! X bought the pin-pointer with to the site and it works great  Great the only problem I had with it is that he took it back again  Thumbs Down then he still wants me to talk about it  Angry

Anyway, a lot of the finds it found without digging which made it easy to point to... It did take a bit to get used to, but I was very happy with the results  Kiss I have given him some stuff to think about to make it perfect, umm wonder if he will be finished before I go to England  Kiss I hope he has shielded the coil  Funny Funny Funny otherwise it will work like his detector  Shame

Did not say anything before as I was so excited about the finds... Also rushed to get my photo's on the web for X who still did not see them till this morning anyway  Coffee

So tell me when are we going to the war museum? and can I bring my detector with? I did some testing with the shield today but I only had five minutes as the sheep are lambing and I'm busy as any one can imagine Blaaa here and Blaaa there Man sheep are stupid  Grin  OK about that Hi Lo thing you wanted well I have an idea but I will only do it once I can get some acid to etch the new board. It will have a flashing RED LED to indicate that you are in Lo mode. Will that satisfy his Lordship? or would Lordship prefer a yellow LED . Ho and by the way I brought it to the site NOT bought it to the site FOOL

Sheep #$%^^&*  Grin those sheep have more brains than you  Funny Funny Funny That pin-pointer idea with the Led sounds good to me... by the time you have finished there will be so many Led's on it that it will look like a disco when it detects metal  Laughing We will have to play by ear with the museum, depends on the house story  Welcome but will keep in contact with you about it  Great

A lady at our church as asked me if you know about someone / shop in Walkerville that does stained glass work, and sells the glass etc? Can you ask your Sister to see if she knows? Then you can let me know  Hello There is someone in the area that does this stuff.... Good chap  Great

The photo is of the only traffic light we had in Westonaria.... it used to be kept during the week in the bottle store, and would be wheeled into the middle of the road and plugged into the road at weekends only..... Ah, those were the days  Great

Cool finds there.    Tent Stakes, Something like a 30-30 cartradge.

You Don't have time to play with the Sheep.

Ya need to see if that detector got there.

You need a day away from the farm anyways! Cool

Grin Grin The tent stuff well they really are nails for fencing, the wire is held in place by the top part. The shell is a Martini Henry and the two buckles were used for the horses as for the last photo of the shell well don't have a clue at the moment.  Grin
