Just down your alley really it's about 500m from where I live in Aston Bay (Eastern Cape) about 80km from PE and 1150km from JHB much nicer than Durban ain't it LOL

Looks good , Xavier ! How is the diving conditions there - water temp , visibility , bottom , any known wrecks , any legends ? Spearfishing possible - sharks ?

LOL all of the above water temp not too bad, fishing OK, sharks lots, vis depending on the currents and sea conditions, wrecks yes, bottom some parts are rocky we have quite a lot of reefs in the area, legends? well I guess that there must be some but I have not heard any yet. we also have dolphins, wales and penguins

I am just doing some research about underwater / land MD ,so I can exchange my Whites DFX , so far my choice became Minelab Exclibur 1000 ,but I am still looking around !

Well I can't help you with brand names and there respective performances but I can tell you that I have a home made detector that will need UW testing in the next month or two.
