Renegade7, in South Africa it is normal practice for us to bugger around  Funny And when there is a Braai (barbeque) and a few bears, it gets even better... Hey we even take a couple of beers detecting  Great Great

We went onto a mountain today to hunt around a couple of old Kraals (African animal paddocks) but all we found was a old coke can and a piece of wire  Cry but at least we have knocked this site of our list  Clapp but even though we did not find anything, the company and the view and the beer with fresh air made it all worth while  Welcome

Well I cleared all the electrical rubbish out of my house and planted it by X's  Laughing he now has all the crap  Kiss

Here we have critters called Pack Rats.

Any time you find a mound you check them out.

They love everything and All.

I found 45-70 cartradges from Indian battles in the things.

Don't pay attention to the map on this site.

There all over NM.

Including my front yard.

Homie, we have lots of rats in the field (ahahaha they are called "field rats") we have some nasty things here in the bush  No no!

AU, I do not think the farmers will let us in their fields with X, unless we use him as a scarecrow to chase the birds away from their crops  Shame the holes he would have to dig to recover his finds that his detector has found will cause tractors to disappear, do not think the farmers will be happy  No no!

Go Up Go Down

Hi!  I'm here for a while!  Been fighting a cold and sore throat for the last 2 weeks.  Laying around groaning and moaning and holding my belly!  I think I've coughed out the entire insides of my Bronchial tube and trachea now!

Still waiting for warmer weather here.  It is either warm and heavy rain and winds, or blowing so hard the wind chill factor is about 0!  One day I did take out a vintage detector I bought this winter, a Bounty Hunter TR 550 and used it along my driveway.  I did find one thin US dime (clad).  The thing I was really impressed with was the pinpointing ability of the machine.  It was dead on!  That is my first and big find on the new detecting season, so far!

Peter, I checked on tracking the package.  Last entry was on March 12 and said it was "in transit'!  Hope it gets there soon!

All your talk about beer makes me thirsty and I quit drinking many years ago, except for the occasional libation in celebration (of anything)!

Later guys!                                     Detecting

Hi Arfieboy,

We are also having lots of rain, although the farmers say not enough  Great I have been keeping an eye on the post box, but still nothing..... It does take some time though, so don't worry yet  Funny We are battling to do any detecting as the grass is just too long, we are waiting on the fires to start so that the grass can be short again  Grin Grin Grin Hope and pray that you get better soon my friend, nothing worse than being sick  Exhausted
