Hi Peter !
Welcome ! I am also back and happy to be back ! I dont know what is yours opinion , but for me Europe is VERY expensive place to live ! O.k there is lots of nice things but not many people can afford it ! And the weather ....! Well we got Julius here , but for example , in Poland there is also lots of funny guys ! So , for now I am enjoying myself very much and waiting for the day when we all get together for some fun !  Silki.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the welcome back  Great the flight was long and lousy, as there is no space to sit comfortably. As for living in England, we are looking at going back there in time to come. I found that housing and utilities are very expensive, meat is not as nice as SA, but you can just about get anything quite cheaply if you look around..... Most things are quite comparable in price to SA.... The big problems is work, but I did look around, and if you are willing to start small, you can sell just about anything over there, so small business is very viable.

Unfortunately, I did not get out detecting again as AU could not make it.... He just got a bit busy, but the time I did get out was fantastic. AU is an incredible person, very friendly, and went out of his way to get out detecting..... Thanks AU, you are a star.

Detecting in England is a blast from the past.... In one field we went to, we came across stuff from all different time periods.... My cut half coin coming from the 1200's right up to present day bottle tops  Great what more can you ask for  Kiss Kiss

Silki, I am trying to get hold of X at this time, but he seems to be offline at this time... he does not even answer his mobile phone  Angry but when I do get a hold of him, I will speak to him about us getting together  Great

Hi Peter Welcome back!
And hello to all you other folks too. Well been busy again as you probably guessed.
I hope X hasn't fallen in the cauldron of cheese.
No detecting for me in a while....I'm going to have to make a very big comeback to catch up with you boys.
Silki nice to have you back again too. I have seen clips of metal detecting in Poland with some really good world war 2 finds.
Well business is slowly picking up again....touch wood so I have to keep focused on that.
Must say I am loving the working from home.
We really must make a plan to do a couple of hunts together next year. I know of a hunting lodge that is cheap and is situated in some really intense Boer war sites  including a concentration camp site of sorts. Must get some more details but apparently the farm owner is also crazy about collecting the bullet casings in the area. So I figure maybe a gentlemen's hunting weekend? I know the place can sleep a whole lot of people.
Any ways keep well, chat later
Viking
