You are lucky they only steal the piping, here they just steal the whole thing  Shocked you will be amazed at some of the things they steal.... We had a power stop at one time at my work, it took us a while to discover that someone actually without switching off the power, removed the copper buss-bars without getting electrocuted..... our people take major chances.....

We had a chap who complained to the council that his tv was going off every so many minutes..... when they went to investigate, they found that he had wired his house electrics to a traffic light..... everytime the lights changed, his power would also switch on or off  Grin that my friend is a true story.......
