Dam it ! I've got so much to take pictures of and post and I don't get the time!
I'm busy moving my workplace home......110m2 into a 4x3m wendy house. Just a really k@k time.
I have some cool finds from the last couple of beach hunts and I have some bullet shells that I want identified as well.
End of this month I should be sorted to a degree!

Hi Viking,

Hope that you are keeping well on that side  Great Great to see you back.... I did try and phone you the other day, but it went to voice mail.... Not sure if you got the message....

Xavier is being very crooked, as he is telling me in funny words that he has my gold coins, but will not give them back to me  No no!  Shocked

It would be great to see the photos.... Post those shells, so that we can try and id them for you.... We are getting good at it  Wise

I see the blog is still the same also  :Smiley umm not good. That wendy house is too small for all the finds  Funny

Anyway bud,,, great to have you back, now don't run away again..... Watch out for Xavier, he could steal the fillings out of your teeth without you knowing it  Laughing

Silki, no clue as to what cal or mfg. I put in MK 3 and came up with a raft of xbox games. I think the T with the two arcs over it is a makers mark. Here is where we need to search by visual recognition. Someone offers that service now. I can't remember who? What are you going to do with them? They used to make ash trays out of the Howtzer shells. The local barber shop in my town had one with the projectile still in place. they just sawed it off and hollowed it out to recieve the ashes. Still had the power and primer in it... Or so said the barber.

Hi Silki,

Not too sure but could be a 25 pounder, 1938 (2nd world war) looks like three rifles which would make it Birmingham arms... This is a bit of a shot in the dark though..... The other shell I cannot seem to read nicely..... especially date....

Lets see what others have to say...
