Try using your Web cam.

These were taken with a $12.oo camera.

I had to twist the lense focus so far it was about to fall off.  LOL!

For white light you should use white leds or a neon light. leds are better all you need is a 1.5v battery and a 330R resistor and you're done.

Got to go very busy
All the best

Yea, I guess I'm going to have to shell out for a real camera some day. Huh?

Don't know about the back of bullet cases, but it's hard to beat a flat bed scanner for coins.

Thanks for the replies.... Umm, have tried LED lights and Neon lights..... LED's do not throw the light well and the neons seem to flicker....  Shocked I must try them again and see what happens....
The flatbed scanner is a great idea until you need to scan about 2500 coins, then it takes too long..... But yes, the results are good. I think the solution is to pay out a few thousand rands for a descent camera that I can manually focus....  Cool

Hello Guys! Sorry , I injured my arm , so I can't write much , but be patient  - great things is coming - camera which doesn't need to be focused - it is completely new things ! You can focus anyplace you want on the pictures after shooting ! Check on the web : " Lytro camera " - great stuff , and it is going to be priced as a consumer cameras , not " professional " !  Cheesy

Hi Peter ! Yes , I am still in the bush , cold and miserable , with torn muscles in my left arm ( old age ! ) Fortunately right arm is still O.K. so if time is right I can still swing my Machine !!! Just waiting for the field - fires to do the job with the grass ! When are you off to England ? I am going to Europe and Poland in September  and of course packing my MD with me ! Did You check examples of the photos from that " Lytro " camera - it is quiet amazing how you can play with the focus on that pictures ! I hear that camera will be available at the end of the year and will cost few hundred $ (?) But when I am in Europe I would like to get small video camera - I think it is called " sport pack " or something so I can make nice action videos like yours !
