Setting up an account is free and they will keep about a Gigabyte of photos for you. After you upload a photo, right click on the picture and save the link location. Paste it into your post as a URL and there you have it.

As to the PMs, look below your icon under the "view inventory." One of your inventory items is a cartoon bubble with a yellow dot. On your area above, that is the middle button. If I want to PM you, I press that and get redirected to a PM editor. Just like posting here but it is private rather than public.
