I wish I had gone before they did and I would have found more, but I met my quota.
I used to teach there so I know where the buildings were.
I'm pretty satisfied with my finds today. I haven't dug up so many quarters in one hunt in a while.

It's still a bit too cold here in Connecticut but I'll admit that I am getting an early case of "Detectoritis." Broke out my favorites and put in fresh batteries. All tested, cleaned and ready to lock and load!

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

I forget that it's snowy and the ground is frozen.
I guess I am used to the weather around here. It's only hot or hotter.
I can hardly wait to see what folks up north find since there are older coins and relics than around here.
I hope spring comes around soon so everyone can get out to dig em up.

Hello GD,
keep a heads-up this Wednesday 2/24-2/25, were supposed to have some strong or severe weather coming up...Supposed to last a good 2 full days.
I can't wait for spring to break...Maybe you'll get up by Saratoga this year?
 Great

Cheers,
Jim

It adds up and then I change it for paper money.
It's money that no one can claim since the coins are all the same.
Someone once told me that I looked like an idiot metal detecting. I told him that the idiots are the once that lose the money so I can find it.
