Had to work last week...i missed the hunting and posting....
today was a fun, but hot day...
Found a Red Rock cola bottle...never heard of it...but it was 5" under ground...
The first pic is something I have no idea...it is what it appears....closed top and bottom...metal..does not open...hollow inside...anyone have any ideas..please let me know

Thanks for the link BA..it was a good one.
This Redrock was bottled in Columbia, S.C.
On the dimensions, I do not know why I did not put that in the original post. I will do this later. I think you are correct on it being some kind of stopper
