Quota Guru was dressed up in the finest Glad Garbage bag I could find. Of course the green went with the rest of it's outfit. Was a wet day to be out a digging and Quota Guru does not like the rain.
Hit two playing fields with the first one netting half a quota and a nice Halifax Regional Municipality pin.
Second field finished off quota plus 5 along with a dog tag with the name Snicker on it and a phone number. Just before leaving I had the find of the day. Not sure but think it may belong to the detectorist terrorist who has left many a tank trap holes.
Once home I called the number on the dog tag and had a very pleasant conversation about the tag and folks we knew in common. Apparently Snickers had died two years ago and was greatly missed by his owner. He plans on dropping by later in the week to retrieve the tag. Two returns in one week!
