Go Up Go Down

Went into the drained lake today, got really muddy and thick with clay, 2 hrs in got a strong signal with E-Trac and dug 10 inches. pulled out a ball of clay and tested it. Opened it up and inside was a reales dated 1786, I included pics of the ball of clay it was encased in. You can see it was a pefect black coin. I snached it up in my bag before I dropped it. The photos are the best I could do, hope you enjoy. This is my best and oldest find yet!

Go Up Go Down

Guys,
I can't wait to go back out there and dig some more goodies. I have some more photos of the lake drained and will post them with the other finds (fish hooks, lures, weights , spoons , rigs etc). I also have some rich history of the area which might pique your interest!
I was so excited to show my wife the find and all she could say was how much is it worth?
To me it is worth the increase in my heart rate and excitement not the value, I only wish she could share in the excitement, but I guess we only know the feeling of find when we uncover a goodie!
All The Best,
AXE
