Go Up Go Down

So, after having my newly repaired detector back, I have decided to take it out.  After three days of receiving it from the factory, I make my way to my neighbors.  They are an elderly couple and in their yard used to be a very old house.  I start detecting, and just in a minute I ring up a penny, it tells me.  I trust it and I get down and dig it up, and my goodness it was a 1919 wheat cent!! Grin  Not far from them, I find four more wheat cents.  1936, 1940, 1950 and 1958!! I return back home that day, and plan to come back the next day.
The next day comes around and I start off by finding a small charm.  It had a broken link to it, and I have reason to believe that this charm is pure gold.  It says the Holy Bible on the front.  After a while of searching around, my detector went off on something and stayed on the $1 indicator.  So, I dig in that spot.  After a while, I hit a solid and silver colored can object.  I use a shovel and I scoop it out.  Well, I have to say that I think that these coins were purposely buried!! And, after searching the spot again I found some more below it!! I am very satisfied with this detector now, especially after I find a small stash. Grin Cheesy Grin Oh, if someone can tell be looking at the charm, but I'm sure that it is gold.  Its heavy for as small as it is and I can leave a mark on it when I bite down.  Would cleaning it off hurt anything? Because I think that people would want gold to be clean if they bought it.

Hm, well I will go down the denominations starting with the $1.  The dollar is a 1882 Morgan dollar, 1936 Walking Liberty half dollar, 1920 Walking Liberty, 1927 Standing quarter, 1928 Standing quarter, 1903 Barber dime, 1906 Barber dime, 1918 Mercury dime, 1911 Liberty nickel, 1920 Buffalo nickel, 1935 Buffalo nickel, 1936 Buffalo nickel, 2 1937 Buffalo nickels, 1864 Two-cent piece, and a 1919, 1936, 1940, 1950 and 1958 wheat cent.  That is a total of what I found.  The owners figured that it was their grandparents money that they had buried.  They think that grandpa might have a cache buried somewhere on the property.  They think I found grandmas' cache.  I offered them some coins, but they refused and I was finally able to get them to take the 1936 Liberty half dollar.
