I don’t think that I could discriminate with the detector. Any detector.
The first pic is the lamp that made the beep.
On the second and third you can see the iron bit that corroded and create the oxidized Lamp/rock that the coin was imbedded.
It was less than an inch from the coin.
On the forth/fifth pics you can see the coin, after was partially free.
That was a beach find and salty water created the conditions.
It’s not as bad as that when you detect inland.
