Hello everyone,I hunted an old park in my area today,and dug a 1953 rosie dime on my third hole Great

.I noticed a new set of play equipment,and decided to checked it out. Parks and rec dept. cut back some brush and older trees for new slides, so i detected that area and pulled 3 wheaties from around some old stumps. 1957,1927,and one too corroded to read the date.Also found a rectangular VFW commmemorative copper dedicating a new post circa 1948.worked my way around the older swings and scored a small gold colored "cheapie" kids ring that spelled L-O-V-E.I finally decided to work my way back to my truck, and got a BIG hit,so I figured I had better dig up this can so I won't hafta deal with it next time. The big hig hit turned out to be 2 2000 Sacawagea dollar coins in the same hole! Total clad for the day 2 dollar coins+1 quarter+2 dimes+a dozen memorial pennies.All in all one of my best days ever. Wow, you sure found a nice little haul. Construction sites are hot spots for excellent finds. One guy had found a Capped Bust dime in a construction site. If you ever see one, I would suggest going to it and making sure that you are permitted to metal detect there. I've never done it myself, but I hope to soon.
