Go Up Go Down

Well I went back to the yard I found the 1941d Walker and Rosie's in and finished it up this evening. The last time I kept thinking where are the Mercs and tonight I found 4 mercs. 1935s,1939 plain,1943d,1945d. I also found 5 Wheaties all but one where in the 40's&50's. This yard gave up 9 silver with all coming from the front yard. What is amazing is that the guy who owns the house lives in Seattle as was in town getting it ready to rent. I had knocked on the door at least 4 times before. Last year I started late MDing because I just got to town. I had a total of 38 silver for 2014 but I already 58 silver in 2015. Still looking for Seated here and a Standing Liberty quarter. Last year I found two Barber Quarters so I know their out in a yard somewhere. Thanks for Looking and comments. Happy Hunting

I guess you can chalk it up to living in an area where urban renewal hasn't gobbled up up the past and built on top of it. Maybe archeologists  in the next millennium will find them.

A bad day at gold prospecting or metal detecting is better than a good day at work.

You've found a good spot. Keep working it. Just when you think it may be worked out the deeper goodies will start to shop up.
