You still have a better system than ours because as it stands here anything 50 years old is technically off limits. We have no claim to it and in fact are not suppose to disturb it, rather we are supposed report finds to the authorities.  How stupid is that especially when we're digging lost coins and jewelry that would otherwise lay to no ones benefit and in the case of jewelry, we're happy to reunite it with the owner when ownership can verified?  It renders us criminals to some degree, and the conundrum is that unless we're dealing with artifices of significant interest, others don't care enough to search for it.  The worst part is when the "people police" show up, the ones who want to stick their noses into everyone's business and make others lives miserable as theirs.  Fortunately, most people leave us alone in parks and open common public land like schools.

Well I think you should go and start a new Thread on this Subject where we can really do it some Justice and see what comes up
