I got out for couple of hours today.
I suppose to be at the beach at 06:00, as its not too hot and not many people, but I was late.
I was there at 7:30.
I got a few coins at my favorite spot when a group of maybe 30 people come to the area and I had to move. (I don't like it when too many people around)
On my way to a quiet part of the beach I saw a young man and a woman on there knees looking for something in the sand.
The young man maybe 25 yo come and ask me if my detector could find a ring and if I could help him find his wedding ring that lost last night.
I was more than happy to help.
He points the area and on my fourth target the ring come up.
Man they were happy. Apparently he took it off and gave it to the girl not to loose it as he was going for a swim but the girl (his wife) drop it. They look for it but they couldn't find it so they come back to look for it again today.
He thank me and gone away only to come back about 20 minutes later to give me a $50.00 as a reward.
I didn't want it. I said I was happy to help, but he insisted.
I end up with $75.00 (no other jewellery) for the day.
Not bad for a late starter
