I hadn't gone in some days.
I didn't know where to go ,but my detector mobile is like a horse and it guides me to where I might want to go.
I like to hit the parking areas because the put their hands in their pockets and some change drops out sometimes.
It was cool, but then it felt warm. It all depended if I was in the direct sunshine or under the trees.
The total was $7.35 not counting the pennies.

Nice,, Gas money Covered, I have never really wondered over parks I normally try to do the areas about 8 to 10 feet either side of the tracks or on the hills where folks might set up a picnic or in places the set there things down to mark Goal posts for soccer of football.

It's where the spectators are that the coins and stuff are dropped.
The players usually wear uniforms without pockets so they don't have much change with them. I have found that checking the sides of basketball courts, baseball fields, and soccer fields yield some coins. I also find some next to the soccer goal posts and under the top soccer goal post middle supports where kids hang from for fun.

Sounds like you have got it all worked out, Think I might give that ago myself, getting permission in such places is the hard part here, they do get a little upset at times,

The worse thing that could happen is that they say no or they tell you to leave. I've seen plenty of that and it doesn't bother me since at least I tried.
Get out there and dig em up.

That Copper wire goes in the Bin. It  all adds up. I sold a white bucket of that stuff for 70.00  not long ago.
