Hello got out a bit today. Didnt find anything to much got one arrowhead. The other 2 things I dont know what they are do you? The both have been worked. I think the one to the right was a knife. It is Brown flint not the normal for arround here. Its usally jet black. The other is a real smooth blue stone of some kind. What do you think?

There should be a Indian Artifact forum here.

the one on the left could be a hammer stone, used to start the arrowhead making process I have a few of them and I have a friend who does flint knapping it was cool to see this lost art still being practiced the ancient way.  He only uses stone and deer antler to chip and flake the obsidian...very cool...Cheesy

Do you have any special methods for finding the Indian artifacts, or simply walk about eyeballing the ground?

Neat finds.

I just wait till they plow the fields. Then after a good rain just go for a walk.

I doubt a metal detector would sound off on arrowheads unless they were made of hot rocks or some other highly mineralized rock..
