I think you got a great haul there buddyman!
I LOVE variety in my finds and you've depicted a fairly close example of my typical days hunts here.
Your photos, as usual, are SUPER! Considering the size of that place and the size of your coil, it's just amazing to me that you passed it over anything good at all.
Just goes to show you again eh, how much stuff gets lost, everywhere, all the time.
There's a park that looks somewhat like yours, a few miles from where I live. I haven't hunted it yet SO, I have to ask you this little question, which may even be on other TH'ers minds too? How in the heck do you narrow down just WHERE you are actually going to hunt?
BIG places always freak me out because there is just SO much land to try and cover in one hunt. Sure, I always head to any trees in open areas but what about all the walkways, benches, big light poles, the waters edge, that nice grassy spot above the break-wall, the second little sandy area above the other section of break-wall, etc. etc.? You get my drift. Where on that big chunk of land did you find either, the most or the best stuff? What are YOUR hot spots out there? What were Mark's?
Your answers would help me a lot in trying to tackle in the future, the very large yet very inviting, similar lookin' park to your new one.
