Met Mike and Sheila at a large sports complex this morning

It was a little frosty early this morning and with the wind it was a little cool!

By 11am it was getting warmer and turned out to be a nice sunny day

This sports park is a favourite with many hunters, we didn't expect a lot of finds.

Here's Mike and Sheila, we all had a lot of fun!

The detector's of choice today was...

2 X3 and an X5

We all did pretty good with finds. Here's my finds, lots of clad and a couple British coins from the same hole

Man, that's some arsenal of machinery you folks put together too! Are you sure other detectorists have hunted this park before? Grin

If so, there must be a gazillion coins and artifacts in that turf, OR the other people must be using Micronta's OR, they've got their disc. buttons turned up about two turns past the max setting. Grin

Just went out for a walk and to get some cancer sticks and noticed that the now bare ground I was staring at along the way, was NOT frozen! Eureka! I'll be heading back to those very same close by spots tomorrow and get in another dose of coin seekin' during this totally unseasonable winter (January)

OOOppps! Did I just notice that Outback has hunted there before? Embarrassed
