I did manage to find some clad and a 1978 Baron belt buckle from 1978. I wonder how it was missed considering its size.
I used a 5 inch coil that I recently bought to hunt around the picnic tables that are littered with trash.
It felt great to get out after almost a month of no detecting due to the cataract surgery.I found one Sacky dollar in the total finds.

That's good news as the cataract surgery must have healed up well. I gotta get that done myself soon.

It will be quite an experience. I can see well in the distant, but I can't read the small print.
I guess the new prescription will cover that.
Glad to get rid of my thick lenses that were so heavy and didn't help that much. I felt as though I was walking around with binoculars in front of my eyes.
I have a more panoramic vies instead of the tunnel type vision.
Sometimes we just have to get it done. the more we wait the longer it's going to take to see better.

The only problem is that now the weather will be sizzling and I won't be able to get out to dig as often as I want to.

Nice finds, Arturo!  Good to see that you are getting out and that your vision is so much better!  Very Cool!   Great

I made it out for a while today as i noticed they took 4" of dirt off the local ball field. Been raining for some time but thought i might get in. The topsoil piles were in low areas and super wet but the scraped areas looked ok. Got about 100 feet into the field and poof! Right up to my ankles in sticky clay.  Angry

When the rain stops and the ground is less saturated you will be able to find find nice targets due the higher sensitivity in the soft ground.

That's for sure.  After it dries out a bit they will be probably be back at work rebuilding the field. Have to keep an eye on it.
